The old railway station Roma Trastevere
The old railway station Roma Trastevere was born in 1894, replacing the original Rome Porta Portese and also in a prospect of continuation of the relative line towards the Tuscolana area, a connection that was prepared but never realized. It was once home to the Institute of Experimental Dynamics RFI and is currently supervised by staff but seems in a state of complete disarmament. Even the steam locomotive exposed as a monument in its courtyard has been removed.
